About Us

Inönü University's publishing trademark was registered on April 3, 1975, under the name "Inönü University." Its first ISBN was obtained on April 7, 2013, for the publication "The Future of Health Colleges in the 2000s." Publishing activities, which have continued since that date, were formalized on July 31, 2017, with a decision made at the 4th session of the University Senate, and continue more effectively and systematically under the name Inönü University Publishing House.

Inonu University Press publishes works across a wide range of fields, including health, social sciences, education, history, science and engineering, as well as art, sports, and culture. It also contributes to both national and international academic circles through translations and textbooks. Furthermore, it contributes to local memory and the scientific community by publishing works on the historical and cultural heritage of Malatya and the surrounding region.

In addition to printed publications, Inonu University Press places importance on digital transformation and reaches readers with its works in e-book (electronic book) format.

OUR MISSION AND GOALS

Inonu University Press has adopted as its fundamental mission the transformation of academic knowledge, the product of scientific research, into accessible and high-quality publications that benefit society. In this regard, it prioritizes contributing to knowledge production and meeting individuals' expectations for access to information.

Inonu University Press aims to reach not only the academic community but also all segments of society, contributing to social and educational development through an ethical publishing approach. By presenting accumulated knowledge in publication formats that support development, it ensures that scientific production reaches the public.

Our press, which follows a publishing policy based on academic quality, open to contemporary approaches, and aware of social responsibility, is fundamentally committed to working in cooperation with all fields that contribute to science, education, and social life. In line with this vision, our aim is to connect young people and individuals eager to read with publications that encourage creative, critical, and objective thinking.

Our greatest goal is to facilitate access to information resources, make this access sustainable, and pass this culture on to future generations. Furthermore, our aim is to bring distinguished works, meticulously prepared with a professional publishing approach and guided by scientists, to the public and to produce lasting publications that make a difference both locally and globally.

SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS

Inonu University Press does not limit itself to book publishing; it also publishes 16 peer-reviewed scientific journals that respond to the needs of the academic world.

Each of these journals, published in accordance with academic quality and ethical principles, is indexed in national and international databases and is offered free of charge to scientists and researchers through an open access policy. Through these journals, we encourage the circulation of scientific knowledge and elevates the academic achievements of our university to a universal level.
