As the Hematological Rare Diseases Association, we wanted to look at "cancer" and hematological diseases, which are our concerns, from a different perspective. We wanted to share our feelings and thoughts so that our sorrows and troubles would lessen and our hope would increase. Instead of being sad that a flower has thorns, we wanted to rejoice that a thorn has a flower. We wanted to hear each other's voices and share our sorrows and joys. This book consists of a total of 30 stories: 18 stories that participated in the Holding Onto Life Story Competition in 2020 but were not published, and 12 unpublished stories by authors who won awards in disease story competitions.
