İNÖNÜ UNIVERSITY PRESS
Geometry and Measuring Education
This book has been prepared for students in the mathematics teaching department of education faculties. The book consists of eight chapters. The book avoids unnecessary details, and the basic definitions and theorems, along with their proofs, are presented at a level that a high school graduate can understand. In addition to the problems given at the end of each chapter, the book also includes exam preparation questions at the end, designed for traditional examinations.
The aim is for prospective teachers who are inclined towards becoming mathematics teachers to approach the geometry topics they learned in primary and secondary education in a way that enables them to teach them to others, focusing on the reasons behind certain well-known theorems and propositions and teaching them together with the meanings of the concepts.
