Anyone who wants to build a new civilization, anyone who dreams of doing so, especially those who
feel responsible for raising the next generation, must seriously consider some fundamental issues.
The elements of the desired civilization must be conceivable, at least at a theoretical level, and it
must be possible to foresee, or at least imagine, how these elements could make a difference in the
life of an ordinary person in today's world, even if only at a basic level.
The solution to these fundamental issues must be sought in the comprehensive and peaceful
integrity of our tradition of wisdom, which combines all dimensions of life, harmonizes all fields of
knowledge and science within itself, and possesses both theoretical and practical characteristics.
Therefore, a philosophy of medicine developed based on wisdom is a candidate for a new approach
that is more inclusive, more flexible, more social, more humane, and based on more indigenous
elements.
