As İnönü University Rectorate and the Faculty of Education, we aimed to enrich and expand the act of teaching, the teaching profession, and therefore education and instruction through new proposals, suggestions, and perspectives. We sought to create a platform where teachers could share their knowledge, skills, and experiences supported by the expressive power of literature, a higher form of language. With this intention, priority, and care, we organized a competition and provided an environment and opportunity for such sharing.

The result is The Teacher’s Story a competition bearing this name and theme, and this book, which presents selected stories submitted to the competition.
