In the book Smiling Doctor Memories, we have included 107 memoirs written by our colleagues. We are delighted that this work, to which 44 fellow doctors contributed their memories, has managed to snatch something from the jaws of death. If, upon reading these memoirs, we can put a little smile on your face and leave something in your mind about medicine and humanity, we will consider ourselves to have achieved our goal.
