The book “Medical Devices and Supplies for Medical Schools” reflects the age of information and technology, containing brief descriptions of more than 500 medical devices and supplies used in current healthcare practices in 41 different medical fields, presented alphabetically within the book, accompanied by images and/or schematic drawings. It is the first book published in our country that systematically covers all medical device and supply information, targeting those studying in the health field and healthcare professionals.

As emphasized in the sayings “A tool works, the hand praises” and “You can't achieve perfection with poor tools,” tools and supplies are especially important for us physicians and healthcare professionals. It would be appropriate for this subject to be included in the core curriculum of schools that train healthcare professionals and to be covered in undergraduate and/or graduate education.
