As the Rectorate and Faculty of Education of İnönü University, we have decided to organize a competition to enrich and multiply the work of teaching, the teaching profession, and consequently education and instruction with new proposals, suggestions, and perspectives. We considered, valued, and prioritized opening a channel where teachers could share their knowledge, skills, and experiences, supported by the magic of literature, a higher-level language activity, and preparing an environment and opportunities for this. As a result, this book, titled “The Teacher's Story,” was published, containing the competition and selections from the stories submitted to it.
